I was sitting here editing on my computer this morning, when I looked out my bay window into my back yard.  It’s a BEAUTIFUL Summer day here in Utah, and we’re waiting on the afternoon storms that seem to blow through every day.  While I’m looking out into the great weather & warmth, I can’t believe that we’re already almost half way through JULY!  Just a couple more months until all the kids in town go back to school in the Fall.  Where does time go now-a-days?  I remember how exciting it was to get my new backpack, clothes, and school supplies to go back to school each year.  I love the line in You’ve Got Mail, where Joe (NY152) writes to Kathleen (shopgirl), “Don’t you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address.”  (Yes…this is one of my all-time favorite movies!).  As much as I love the Summer….I’m really a “Fall” girl like Joe & Kathleen.  I would move to a magical land that had ONLY the season of Fall in a HEARTBEAT!  Along with Fall comes one of my most busy seasons, and I love it!  The Earth is never as beautiful as it is in the fall, which makes for an amazing backdrop for me to work with.  As I was thinking of this today, I realized how I wished I’d done my Senior pictures in the Fall.  How I’d wished I’d had a Fall wedding…but we were too antsy to be husband and wife, so we settled for MAY instead .  So…in the spirit of being SO excited for Fall to be here, I’m launching a Sale today for SENIOR PORTRAITS!
